Who this guide is for
For content marketers, agency editors, and business owners revising Jasper-generated copy for publication, especially when brand voice, product details, and approval requirements matter.
Start with the brief, not a list of AI-sounding words
Before submitting Jasper text to Humanizely, write down the audience, channel, purpose, and facts that cannot change. An onboarding email needs a clear next step; a product page needs accurate specifications; an informational article needs a supported answer. Treat these as separate editing tasks rather than asking every draft to sound more conversational.
Check the instructions used to create the Jasper draft. If they omitted eligibility restrictions, supplied an outdated offer, or requested an unsupported superlative, changing the prose will not fix the underlying problem. Correct the brief first. Mark approved terminology, quotations, dates, dimensions, and numerical claims as fixed. Remove confidential information that your organization does not permit you to submit to an external service.
Revise in Standard mode, then compare meaning
Paste a coherent passage into Humanizely and select Standard mode. Keep its heading and any context needed to understand pronouns or references. Humanizely's free allowance is 500 words per request; for longer Jasper drafts, work through complete sections rather than splitting a claim from its qualification.
Compare the revision with the original sentence by sentence. Look for changes in certainty: “may reduce” must not become “reduces,” and “available on selected plans” must not become “included.” Check whether the rewrite has broadened the audience, strengthened a guarantee, or turned an example into a general promise. Restore any missing conditions. Natural writing can still be formal, technical, or restrained; contractions and casual asides are not mandatory.
Verify sources and finish for the publishing channel
Do not treat a citation in Jasper output as proof that a statement is supported. Open the source, confirm that it exists, and check the relevant passage. Keep each citation attached to the claim it supports. If you cannot verify a reference, flag the claim for research instead of inventing a replacement or silently dropping attribution.
Finish with a genre-specific pass. For landing pages, replace vague benefits with approved product details. For emails, put the requested action and deadline where readers can find them. For articles, remove introductions that delay the answer and distinguish evidence from interpretation. Keep the original draft, revision, and approval notes when your workflow requires an audit trail. Follow any applicable AI disclosure policy.
